Job Position: Sr. Software Engineer

Job Duties/Required Skills: Participate in client interactions and business partner discussions, independently, to develop system solutions to business problems. Work within established procedures to develop, test, implement, and maintain application software. Participate, initiate and lead improvements to establish team processes, design and coding standards, and influence others to adopt. Redesigning multiple systems into a single platform that is highly scalable and robust. Troubleshooting and problem resolution of critical issues that may involve many systems and platforms, within a complex infrastructure. Perform analysis/design tasks of a very high complexity which may require extensive research and analysis and documentation. Work independently in the development, testing, implementation and maintenance of complex systems with fast turn-around. Provide detailed analysis of problems, recommend and implement solutions. Prepare detailed program specifications, design documents and develop coding logic flowcharts with recommendations. Mentor more junior developers. Expect to be working on multiple large projects concurrently utilizing and directing global/offshore teams. Ability to multi-task is critical. Stay current with technology and industry best practices to ensure proper utilization of these in software development. Provide adequate and proactive support for various applications. Special Requirements: Experience in J2EE server-side; Experience with multi-threading and distribution application, large scale high volume real time processing OLTP, relational database systems, inter-process communications and data communications; Experience with Eclipse, ClearCase, Ant, Maven, JUnit, etc.; Experience in web application framework, including Struts 2, Springs, tiles, GUI design using Swing, JQuery, Dojo; Demonstrate proficiency in leading and mentoring individuals to maximize productivity.
